The pumkin festival is a good idea in theory, everything pumkin, how could that be bad? But there was way too many people there. Half the people needed to leave so we could enjoy ourselves. But still had a good time. We had some yummy pumkin cheesecake and listened to a local blues musician, Daniel Castro. Thank you Josh and Britt for coming to see us. We had a lot of fun and hope that you did too.

Victoria and Mia performed with their cheerleading squad at their schools annual fall carnival. They looked really good and the squad has really improved since they started last year.

San Francisco has an official Wicked day to welcome the musical back to the city. I took Mia and Victoria and we had lots of fun watching performances, getting make up done, and eating wicked treats. Now they can't wait to see the play.

We have great parks in our neighborhood, and lots of community events. This last saturday they did an end of summer celebration with bounce houses and concession booths. The girls enjoyed it and I got sunburned, of course. I buy the girls the same outfits a lot, they like to match and wear them on the same day

CHICAGO

I was fortunate to be able to go to Chicago for a fun weekend with my mom and my sister Holz. We went to see the Oprah show which was neat, but the best part was just hanging with the ladies. Chicago is an awesome town, I want to go back and explore it more when it isn't raining cats and dogs. Chicago style stuffed pizza, it looked like a cake.

My mom always made the seasons and holidays fun. There was always yummy food to go along with everything. In the fall there was always caramel apples. These are the things that it is so fun to try and continue with the girls. So tonight we made caramel apples. They look yummy but we haven't tried them yet. They are still setting. It was a lot of fun and made me feel goodabout parenting for once. Thanks mom for all the yummy memories. You are the best!
