You once asked me what our purpose in life was and I think I have figured out yours. Take a good look at this picture and you can easily see the warmth, beauty, and intelligence you emanate. Those qualities are rare to find in just one person and you posses all three and a whole lot more. To be able to fill the room with laughter (red wranglers) to see your child and step children gasp in relief when you get home (were hungry). And of course have a intelligent conversation about science with your husband (the Mexican even though he does not know half the time what you are saying). Sometimes it is right in front of you and you do not notice. You become blind to the fact how important you are to the people that are closest to you. So you have not as of yet cured an incurable disease or become the first women president, or saved the world ( go green R R R), but some day you will and I'll be there to witness this great task. I believe your goal in life is to give back what you have taken. Your biggest asset is yourself and who would not want to be a part of that. I do not know of any one else that can do what you do and what you put up with and still find some happiness in it all. The struggles within yourself and with me to try to make it a better place to be. Your ability to believe in someone and the changes you try to instill on them so they too can benefit from your wisdom is priceless. Even though you don't know the purpose for your existence now it will come to you. Maybe you should reflect back on the past and search your soul for the goodness you have brought to this world. I have the up most respect for you and adore you so much. I would never be in the place where I am now if it wasn't for your support and confidence that I could accomplish anything. When I feel like I do not want to do it anymore I just ask myself how would Joy handle it and continue to do my best. I to struggle to know what is my purpose in life is and what is it all about and can not seem to find the answer but I have come to some conclusion. Life is what you make it out to be. You either choose to grasp it take control of it and bend it to your will or you let life control you and dictate what you should do. I choose to be with you and fight the great fight together.
